We've all been there! Whether we forgot someone last minute, or just chose to wait until the very last week before the holiday. That's where I come in (along with every other beauty blogger and beauty publication), and help you with the best last minute gift ideas and purchases. None of these will be online purchases because let's be real, they won't make it on time, unless you're ordering from Amazon Prime (which I did give some affiliate links to).
So let's get to it! Here are my top gift ideas that you can run to the store and grab, to gift your friends, family, and secret Santa!
Popping into Target? Check out S.W. Basics, as the perfect gift for anyone that is starting to venture into natural and clean skincare, but doesn't know where to start. Speaking of skincare, you can also pick up brands like Derma E, Pacifica, Dr. Bronners, Fig & Yarrow, and even Acure, to name a few. Looking moreso for makeup? You're in luck with options like E.L.F, Pixi, Sonia Kashuk, and Zuzu Luxe, you have so many choices to select from.
Not many people know the perks of shopping at drugstores like Rite Aid, Walgreens, and CVS, but it's one of the best places to go for inexpensive and cruelty-free items! Stop into Rite Aid for Yes To, Wet N Wild, and even Physicians Formula, at prices that are unbeatable since they always have amazing discounts! Don't have a Rite Aid, check out CVS and pick up some E.L.F, Milani, and Honeybee Gardens. Walgreens seems to exist in a bunch of locations, and brands vary, in which you can pick up brands like Eco Tools, Avalon Organics, Jordana, and Alba Botanica.
When it comes to makeup, we all know we can head over to Sephora or Ulta, but the cruelty free and vegan brands are endless. If you're headed to Sephora for a last minute gift, pick up a vegan item from Kat Von D (liquid lipsticks are AMAZING), skincare from Herbivore, baked products from Antonym (newly added brand to Sephora), and a lip treatment from Bite Beauty (to help those chapped, flaky lips)! OHH - don't forget to pick up deodorant from LaVanilla and perfume from Pinrose (Gilded Fox, Secret Genius, or Campfire Rebel).
When it comes to Ulta, Ulta's brand itself is cruelty free and has a wide range of vegan products. Instead of heading to Bath & Body Works (YUCK, nasty ingredients), buy some of the body butters and scrubs from Ulta. For perfumes, pick up Define Me Fragrance (Sofia Isabel is my favorite) or Pacifica, who also has amazing corresponding body butters. Pick up some beauty products from Essence, Dose Of Colors, Juice Beauty, and ella+mia.
Another great stop for gifts is your grocery store (SURPRISE)! Pick up some vegan chocolate from Green & Black, Alter Eco's, or Endangered Species to help their sweet tooth. Grab some toothpaste from Hello to help those pearly whites. And how about some Beanfields or Skinny Pop for the savory, and Lucy's and Enjoy Life for the sweet? Gift the gift that keeps on giving, and create a basket with some of your favorite treats!
There you have it! My recommendations for LAST minute shopping, the cruelty-free and vegan way!
Presents are just to show appreciated and gratitude, so make them personal! Whether it be makeup for a beginning, skincare for a guru, or snacks for a foodie....the choices are endless.
