If you've followed me or hung out with me in the past year, you'll know that these lipsticks are my favorite lipsticks of all time. OF ALL TIME! I won some from a giveaway, and was absolutely obsessed, I praised them and the owner was kind enough to send me some more. I had wanted to buy more, but kept talking myself out of it. I'm trying to condense my collection and clear it out as much as possible, but I'm going to end up getting a couple more eventually.
I got these in the winter of 2015, and they were absolutely fine, but there were comments about how during the winter the formula changes. They weren't available this past winter, but they also stated they were working on a liquid lipstick formula. But, once the warmer weather came, I noticed how smoother they were to apply, which made them way more pigmented. I haven't really worn them since the weather changed this year, but the other day I put on Sabrina and I had to be really rough. Once you warm them up, they are smooth, creamy and pigmented, but if they are just hanging out, they will tug at your lips.
I do have favorites from the ones I own, Sabrina (rose/mauve) is my number 1, and I wear it so much, that it honestly has just become my go to. My second favorite is Earth (earthy nude), which I knew I'd love, but didn't realize how much. If I recommend you buy any, it's those 2 to start off your collection. I also really love Camden (burnt red), which is the perfect fall color. Overall, I love the ones I own, and can't wait to see what the company comes out with next.
OH WAIT....they now have liquid lipsticks? WHAT? You don't say. ;-)
This is the other reason they removed their regular matte lipsticks for a while, as they had been working endlessly for months, to create the perfect liquid lipstick. I remember speaking to the owner so long ago, and she had mentioned it. It's so amazing to see the time is finally here. The entire collection consists of 12 lipsticks, ranging from pink and mauve, with 2 reds and a lovely grey.
They are $12 each, which is freaking AMAZING for a liquid lipstick. The only other brand that I praise that is that inexpensive is ColourPop. The formula is completely vegan, so there is no need to double check the ingredients in the red ones. These are made with Hawaiian Kukui nut oil, jojoba oil (a recent love of mine in skincare), pomegranate sterols and coconut extract. They feel so amazing on the lips, don't crack or feel drying and last impeccably. I was sent the entire collection, but this post is not sponsored at all. I don't even have to talk about it, they were just lovely to send it my way.
I have been posting swatches on my IG, so definitely check back to there. My favorites so far are; Autumn Rose and Dark Love. My one complaint is how close in color some of them are, and I was really looking forward to a more burnt red orange, grungy browns and maybe even something fun like a lilac. Regardless, I'm obsessed with these and I'm looking forward to what they come out with next.
