I'm a SUCKER for mani bombs....I don't go a week without using one. Lolita Lacquer was introduced to me because of the subscription box Supernatural Lacquer has. If it wasn't for that, I probably wouldn't have tried any other brand of mani bombs, since I love Forever Polished so much.
With that said, I LOVE her mani bombs. They fizz quickly, leave your nails/cuticles/hands super moisturized and they smell amazing. I have this pile right now, and I'll definitely be making another order, with some nail polishes, eventually.
Let's get to know Mira now!
Let's get things started by having you tell us how you came about creating mani bombs and nail polish?
I've always feel like a I need a creative outlet or otherwise I go stircrazy! So I started researching how to make polish and down the rabbit hole I went.
Do you ever think your products would be used and sold in real stores? Would you want that?
I have a few customers who work for nail salons who use my mani bombs for their clients so in a way I'm halfway there! I would love to be sold at stores though!
What's your favorite part about collaborating with different indie brands?
Getting to know the other brand (s)! It's interesting to see how different all the makers are but how we can relate so easily.
What has been the best scent you have ever created and the worst? Don't spare any yummy or gross details.
Oh this is a hard one, I LOVE every scent I've ever used in mani bombs. I custom blended an ambrosia scent for Easterthat was a huge hit! But my personal favorite scent is a one I named Mountain of Misrule, this yummy musky patchouliscent and I made the mani bomb look like the mountain the abdominal snow man would live on. To me that scent smells like Manly cotton candy if there was such a thing.
Outside of mani bomb and polish making, what are your hobbies?
I love to read, binge watch and I LOVE going hiking, it's one of the few activities the entire family including Bettieour pit can do together.
If you got stuck drinking and eating the same thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I'd drink Coffee and eat Burritos(no cebolla!) not together though.
How many nail polishes do you have in your personal collection?
Indie I'm going to say going on 100, and mainstream I cut that number down drastically to about 50.
If you could change one thing about the world we live in right now, what would it be?
Yikes that's a loaded question. I think it's always a good idea to get out more and put down the tablet or phone down. Their is so much out there to discover and take in, that's where a lot of my inspiration comes from. Not exactly nature but more like being out here on the streets, taking in the culture and life in general.
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Hardworking, creative and Loca (crazy)
On your free time, what do you like to do?
Collect troll dolls and anything 90's while listening to Amy Winehouseand researching my next project.
Lastly, share something people wouldn't know or guess about you.
I shaved my entire head once, MOSTliberating feeling ever!
So there you have it! Mira is a fun loving, eclectic person. I thoroughly believe her character is showcased in her products.
Have you ever tried her products? What are your favorites?
And if you haven't.....do you plan to and what's on your shopping list?
