You guys have no idea how excited I am that JORD Wood Watches reached out to work with me. For over a year, I lusted and liked everything on their IG account (linked), and mentally started a shopping list. There's just something about the look of wood, that is really eloquent and gorgeous. If you follow my IG account (linked), you've noticed that I love using wood as a backdrop for my photos. So it only makes sense that I'd end up with a wooden woman's watch, or two...yes, I am already planning on owning another.
To many, you might not think I'm a watch person, but it's actually one of the only accessories I have worn since I was younger. When I was a pre-teen, I bought a Betty Boop watch, it had a red strap, and it was the best thing ever. I wore it every day until the actual strap ripped apart. I was beyond torn. But alas, new watches came into my life. I currently own 4 watches, and none of them are alike. I'm very picky when it comes to watches, so for you to catch my attention, you're doing something unique.
Which brings me to JORD Wood Watches, and this post overall. I first got introduced to them by another cruelty free blogger and was instantly hooked. They value sustainability, they use real wood, they value their customers and they just kick ass at creating awesome, unique and cool watches. I'm usually not a big watch head person, but I am so in love with my watch, that I don't know how I had never tried bigger ones prior. It is EXTREMELY light weight, smooth...no ridges, doesn't smell like wood, if that's something that bothers you, and for someone with a small wrist, is fits me PERFECTLY.
As someone who is always honest, I would not work with a company I didn't believe in or trust. I wholeheartedly recommend this company, and hope you try them out.
I am having a contest with them, where the winner gets an e-voucher for $75 towards a purchase, and all other participants get a $20 e-voucher. Contest ends this Sunday, 10/30, so if you haven't already signed up through my other social accounts, do so now! The vouchers don't expire until the end of February 2017, so you have time to save up the rest of the money.
So, what are your thoughts on wooden watches?
Lastly, what has been your favorite watch you've ever owned?
